Walter van Sambeck, Dpl. Psy., LPC, LADC, CCS, NCC, MAC, DCMHS 
graduated from the University of Bonn, Germany in 1980 and received his recognition as clinical psychologist by the  Association of German Psychologists (BDP) in 1984. He immigrated to the US in the fall of 1984 and  has been in  private practice at the Connecticut Center for over 30 years now. Mr. van Sambeck has been extensively trained in a variety of Psychotherapy modalities. Rooted in existentialism and humanism his developmental approach to psychotherapy is informed and influenced  by attachment - and object relations theory. His areas of expertise and special interest include Trauma, Dissociative Disorders, Addiction,  Personality Disorders and Depression. A presenter at national and international conferences he has led numerous therapy and training workshops in the US as well as in Europe and provides supervision and case consultations for colleagues and students.

TRAUMA SPECIALIST

Lori Zornado, MSW, LCSW
practices body-centered psychotherapy integrating Gestalt Therapy, Bioenergetic Analysis and Object Relations; she is also a level II EMDR provider. She works with individuals, couples, families and children as well as with the emotional issues related to the prenatal and postpartum experience, birthing and attachment- parenting. Group therapy is also available.

Nicholas Palermo, DO
is Board Certified in Family Medicine and a graduate of the Massachusetts Society of Bioenergetic Analyses.He has been in a private holistic practice for over twenty years and utilizes conventional along with many alternative modalities including manual medicine, prayer, meditation, affirmations, Gestalt and Bioenergetic Psychotherapy. His emphases is on the mind, body, spirit connection.
